Taking your car to your basic, run-of-the-mill body shop is understandably a nerve-racking endeavor. The potential for errors is limitless, ranging from shoddy paint jobs to body panels out of alignment.

The foundation of a quality restoration is the same as that of any fine automobile. We start from the ground up, reconstructing the chassis, suspension, drive train and rear end to ensure the correct balance and alignment before we address the aesthetic aspects of the vehicle.

Every part we work on gets stripped of paint and dirt. As opposed to the common sandblasting technique for removing old paint, we use "media-blasting," which uses plastic beading. Media-blasting creates a more consistent overall finish and avoids the heat generated from sandblasting, which can cause problems such as panel warping. We paint all panels individually to ensure complete coverage of your vehicle.

Our extensive network of suppliers allows us to restore your car with original parts or update it to today's performance standards. We'll also advise you on whether it's more worthwhile to construct the same vehicle rather than restore it (see Build It). Sometimes, building a new version from scratch is more beneficial than an extensive restoration, costing less and reducing long-term maintenance and other associated expenses.

For those impossible-to-find parts or panels that are simply rotting away from rust, leave the job to our fabrication experts.
